Ford has finally revealed the all-new Mustang with some serious updates, features and tweaks to the design.

The exterior gets revisions up-front – with a slopier bonnet, re-designed front grille, bumper and sleeker headlamps that may not be to everybody’s liking, but this has been done to meet certain aerodynamic aspirations. The interiors now get a digital dashboard that replaces the dials in the outgoing model.

Under the bonnet sits a tweaked 5.0-litre V8 that now delivers more power to the rear wheels via an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2.3-litre Ecoboost engine will continue to sell alongside as well.

Handling is said to have improved, thanks to the new cross-axis joint and stabiliser cars, and upgraded shock-absorbers. Pedestrian detection and pre-collision systems. The FordPass smartphone App is now compatible with the Mustang, which means owners can find and start the car with their mobile phones.
