Porsche has set a new Nürburgring Nordschleife record with the Taycan Turbo GT equipped with the new Manthey Kit, completing the legendary circuit in 6:55.533 minutes.

Driven by Porsche development driver Lars Kern, the electric performance sedan was around nine seconds faster than the previous record in the electric executive car class and 12 seconds quicker than the previous Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package.

The Manthey Kit brings extensive aerodynamic, suspension and powertrain upgrades. Downforce is increased by more than three times compared with the standard model, while power rises to 600 kW (816 PS), 20 kW more than the standard car. The Attack Mode power boost can now deliver up to 130 kW for 10 seconds.

The kit is available as a retrofit for Taycan Turbo GT models with the Weissach Package, bringing Manthey’s track-focused technology to Porsche’s electric sports car for the first time.
