MINI is putting a specially engineered MINI Countryman through its final testing in the challenging terrain of the Rocky Mountains in the United States, ahead of its global debut in October 2026.
The camouflaged Countryman is being tested across gravel tracks, rocky terrain, steep mountain passes and remote trails, with engineers using the region’s high altitudes and unpredictable weather to push the SUV’s capabilities beyond conventional testing conditions.
Designed as a more rugged interpretation of the Countryman, the new edition aims to combine all-road capability with MINI’s distinctive character, making it suitable for both winding mountain roads and tougher off-road adventures.
MINI says the special edition will be revealed in October 2026, when further details and its distinctive adventurous design will be unveiled.
