Toyota’s compact SUV – the CH-R – is being slated for an Indian launch sometime next year, and is sure to stand out in terms of design, when compared to its rivals here in India.
The overall silhouette boasts of angular surfaces with a coupe-like roofline and swollen wheel arches. On the inside, the cabin appears simple, uncluttered yet futuristic. Room for the occupants at the back is pretty good, despite the sloping roof.
The CH-R will be based on the all-new platform, and while engines have been confirmed for our market, you can expect a turbo petrol motor along with diesel too. If Toyota does deliver on this promise, they may well have a winner on their hands in yet another segment.
