Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, registered monthly domestic sales of 10,486 units in April 2016 against 12,636 units in the corresponding month last year. HCIL also exported a total of 496 units during April 2016.

Elaborating on the continuing challenge to the industry, Mr Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales said, “The automobile industry is facing big challenge because of sudden shift in consumer preferences from Diesel to Petrol.
