Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new 125 cc scooter named Destini. The Destini is the first 125cc scooter of Hero. This Hero Destini 125cc has been developed at the Hero’s Center of Innovation and Technology at Jaipur.
The scooter comes with automatic start/stop system termed as i3S by Hero, which will result in higher efficiency for urban users. The other useful features include mobile charger port and a boot lamp, which comes as standard in the Destini. Also it features an external fuel filler cap as well.
Regarding the Safety features, the Hero Destini 125 has Integrated Braking System (IBS), service reminder and side stand indicator. The Hero Destini 125 is available in two variants the LX and the VX. The VX trim includes boot lamp, dual tone seat covers and chrome garnishing. The front suspension of the scooter has telescopic forks and monoshocks suspension at the rear. The Destini 125 comes standard with front disc brake.
The Hero Destini is powered by an all-new air cooled 125 cc single-cylinder engine that pumps out 8.7 bhp at 6750 rpm and a peak torque of 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm. The i3S technology of Hero gives a maximum fuel efficiency of 51 kmpl. The Hero Destini 125 cc competes with the Honda Activa 125, TVS NTorq 125 and the Suzuki Access 125.
