Honda launched its version of the good ol’ Bobby bike at the Delhi Auto Expo. The Navi appears to be a blend of an off-roading motorcycle and a moped, which seems to have evolved into something rather cute and appealing. Those small-ish wheels are scooter-like, and there’s also a storage box in place of the engine.
Powering the Navi will be a 7.8 bhp, 109.2cc 4-stroke engine, linked to a CVT gearbox, just like on the Activa. At 101kgs, the Navi will be very light and nimble. Up-front, the Navi gets a 12-inch wheel, while the rear gets a 10-inch unit. You will also find telescopic forks at the front, and a stressed member with a single shock-absorber at the rear.
This is sure to be a hit among college-going kids, given the attractive pricing and the fact that you will be able to customize your Navi with different panels and colours. Deliveries will begin in April this year.
