In simple words, it is the offroad oriented version of the 390 Duke. Uses the same 373.2cc single cylinder engine which makes 44bhp of maximum power and 37Nm of torque. The 390 Adventure will get switchable traction control(only motorcycle to offer traction control). What is different is this bike gets a completely different chassis.
At EICMA 2019, the bike was showcased with cast alloys and not spokes. People were a little upset with that because, for hardcore offroading, spoke wheels are the best. But wait, we still can expect something exciting when KTM is launching the same in India!
100/90-19 tyre at the front and a wider section 130/80-17 tyre at the rear.
Suspension setup is a 43mm USD fork with compression and rebound adjustability and a rear monoshock that can be adjusted for pre-load and rebound. The suspension offers more travel than the Duke 390.
The steering head angle and trial is also different from that of the Duke 390. In the 390 Adventure it is more offroad capable with 63.5 degree steering head angle and 98mm trial which results in longer wheelbase at 1430mm. Ground clearance at 200mm with a seatheight of 855mm. Its a large and spacious seat. Two people can be accomodated comfortably
Fuel tank capacity is 14.5 litres and dry weight at 158kg
Engine will be BS6 compliant and it will be KTM’s first motorcycle with BS6 engine.
