This V60 Cross Country comes with a new uniquely developed chassis and suspension package which therefore aims to boost its off-road capability. The all-wheel drive comes standard along with Hill Descent Control and an all-new off-road driving mode. It also comes with styled plastic cladding at the bottom of the car, while the front and rear skid plates are newly installed as well.
It’s 3 inches taller than the V60 wagon. The V60 Cross Country is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline, four-cylinder engine, with power distributed to all the four wheels. The future models will be coming with a mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid.
Like the standard V60, the benefits of the Cross Country lie in the latest technologies included within the Scalable Product Architecture platform, which has standard systems like auto-brake for city safety, run-off road mitigation and lane mitigation.
Added options include Cross-traffic alert with auto-brake. The Volvo V60 Cross Country also boasts of the Sensus Connect infotainment system( a tablet styled touchscreen display) which has Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and 4G compatibility.
