Ducati has officially launched production of the Desmo450 MX, marking a historic milestone as the brand’s first motocross motorcycle. The bike rolled off the production line at the company’s iconic Borgo Panigale factory, following a successful race debut and podium finishes with riders Jeremy Seewer and Alessandro Lupino.

The Desmo450 MX stands out in the off-road segment with its 449.6cc single-cylinder engine featuring Desmodromic valve timing—a unique offering in motocross. The bike is engineered to be lightweight, powerful, and easy to ride for both professionals and amateurs. It also boasts advanced electronics, including the first Traction Control system in motocross capable of accurately measuring and adapting to rear wheel slip.

Developed with input from motocross legend Tony Cairoli, the Desmo450 MX kicks off Ducati’s entry into the off-road world, aiming to expand its rider base and grow the Ducatisti community worldwide.
