Datsun has launched its little Redi-Go with a 1.0-litre engine, at a price of Rs 3.57 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
The exterior remains untouched, except for the addition of the 1.0-litre badge on the tailgate. Inside the cabin, you will find an all-black colour theme for the dashboard and upholstery. Features include front power-windows, a lock/unlock button on the centre console, central locking with keyless entry, a driver’s-side airbag and an audio system. No touchscreen unit yet, and no Bluetooth connectivity either.
Its 999cc, three-cylinder petrol engine makes 68hp and 91Nm of torque, just like in the Kwid. Although the Redi-Go comes equipped only with a 5-speed manual, with no AMT option on offer at the moment.
