Mercedes-Benz had recently launched the facelfited CLA in India, at a price of Rs 31.40 lakh for the base ‘Style’ diesel variant, and Rs 33.68 lakh for the CLA 200 Sport petrol variant.
On the outside, alterations are subtle and include minor tweaks to the front and rear bumper, all-LED headlamps and a few chrome inserts. Even inside the car, minor revisions are visible – like the larger 8.0-inch infotainment display unit that features upgraded smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Cruise Control, automatic headlights, Bluetooth connectivity, panoramic sunroof among other goodies are also available.
Under the bonnet resides the same 184hp 2.0-litre petrol and 136hp 2.1 litre diesel engine. Mated to the engine is the 7-speed, dual-clutch auto ‘box. Also on offer is the Mercedes Dynamic Select System with different driving modes.
The performance model – the CLA 45 AMG has also received an improvement in horsepower, now making it 381hp and 475Nm of torque.
