BMW india have launched their all-new 5-series, starting at a price of Rs 49.9 lakh(ex-showroom). The new G30 now finally replaces the popular F10.
The car is now larger, lighter and shares styling cues with the larger 7-series. It is also based on the same Cluster Architecture platform as the 7-series. Customers will get to choose from three variants: Sport Line, Luxury Line and a diesel M-Sport. Three engines will be offered: a 252hp, 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol(530i) and two diesels: a 256hp, 3.0-litre motor(530d M-Sport) and a 190hp, 2.0-litre motor(520d). All three engines are synced to an 8-speed auto transmission.
Features include LED headlamps, adaptive suspension, a 600W Harmon Kardon audio system, wireless phone charging, iDrive system with 10.25-inch touchscreen unit, a 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control, ABS with brake assist, Ambient interior lighting, Dynamic stability control and traction control, Launch Control, a BMW Display key that also employs a remote-parking function, and the works!
