Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift teased ahead of Detroit unveiling

On the 9th of this month, Mercedes is all set to reveal in full it’s face-lifted GLA for 2017. But for now, a teaser of what to expect is out – and from appears to be seen, the front-end gets revised with sharper detailing, new fog lamps, a re-designed grille and a few other minor alterations – hinting more at the present GLA 45 AMG’s stylistic cues.


You can also expect new alloy wheels, slight tweaks in the tail lamp clusters and rear bumper and a few additional colours as well. Updates in the cabin are sure to include new upholstery, and a few other improved bits – like perhaps, a new infotainment unit.


In India, the same 170hp 2.1-litre, diesel engine. We do expect a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine is new SUV as well. A mid-2017 launch could be on the cards for India.
