Ford showcased its Mustang at the Auto Expo, and will be launched in the second quarter of 2016. The car boasts of proper muscle-car stance, thanks to the long, mildly bulging bonnet, a stubby tail and a nicely sloped roofline. LED headlamps and dual exhausts find their way onto the car as well.

The interiors get touches of leather, bucket seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting and electronic line lock, among other features. You also get four driving modes: ‘Sport+’, ‘Track’, ‘Norma’l and ‘Wet’. This particular model – the 6th generation Mustang – is the first right-hand-drive Mustang in years. Under the bonnet lies a massive, 5.0-litre V8 that makes 420bhp. And allied to the motor will be a 6-speed auto ‘box.

Now that Ford has fired off the segment in India, we’re looking forward to what Chevrolet and Dodge have to do about this. You probably know what we’re trying to relate to, right?
