Lexus has been belting out models here in India at a rapid rate. The latest of which happens to be their all-new flagship luxury sedan, the LS 500h. It is priced at a whopping Rs 1.77 crore (ex-showroom, India).

The styling is absolutely outlandish. Sharp creases, distinctive LED head lamps and tail lamps, a wavy silhouette and a massive signature spindle grille that looks like it’ll gobble anything that comes in its way and huge 20-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels.

Under the bonnet sits a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine, supplemented by two electric motors that gets its power from 310.8kV lithium-oin battery, producing a total output of 354hp. Power is channeled to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox, while 0-100 comes up in 5.4 seconds. Lexus also claims a fuel efficiency figure of 15.38kpl.

Features include a Mark Levinson surround system, 14 airbags, heated seats with massage function, 28-way adjustable front seats, a 12.3-inch wide infotainment screen with navigation, air suspension all around and a host of other gadgets to play with. Extended footrests are an option, while active noise suspension comes standard.

Lexus have said that the first batch of cars will be delivered by April this year.
