2017 Range Rover Evoque launched at Rs 49.10 lakh

A revised Range Rover Evoque has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 49.10 lakh for the base ‘Pure’ variant and Rs 64.65 lakh for the top-end ‘HSE Dynamic’ variant.


In terms of exterior changes, there really isn’t much, except for the red-and-black colour theme that is available on the limited ‘Ember’ Edition. Features include adaptive LED headlamps, an 825W Meridian surround sound system, a 10-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, surround camera system, among a host of other bits and bobs on offer.


Under the hood lies the all-new 177hp, 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine first introduced on the XF here in India. A 241hp, 2.0-litre petrol motor is expected to reach Indian shores next year – and will be mated to a 9-speed auto ‘box, with bookings for the same set to begin in January.
