Toyota has taken the wraps off the face-lifted Etios and Etios Liva in Brazil. As can be seen, the updated car gets a new front fascia – sporting a wide, chrome-surrounded V-cut in the grille, flanked by an all-new bumper that sports a huge black airdam. The side-profile of the little sedan remains the same, although the rear does get a re-chiseled bumper, and of course – glaringly visible new alloy wheel patterns.
The cabin boasts of a few changes as well – like the new steering wheel, a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, and a futuristic instrument cluster. For the Brazilian market, the all-black interiors will be offered; however, there’s no giving up hope on our market receiving the same interior finish as well. We’re also looking forward to a few tweaks done to the 1.5-litre diesel unit for improved performance. The new Etios should reach our shores by the end of this year.
