After having started accepting bookings for the new petrol Innova Crysta a few weeks earlier, the company has finally launched the model with automatic and manual transmission options.
Under the hood lies a Dual VVTi2.7-litre, 4-cylinder motor that produces 166hp and 245Nm of torque. This also happens to be the same engine that powers the MPV in certain overseas markets. The to-end ZX variant offers features like cruise control, 7 airbags, 17-inch alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment with navigation, stability control and hill-start assist, a 6-speed auto ‘box and leather seats with driver seat electric adjust.
Prices for the new petrol Crysta range from Rs 13.57-19.46 lakh. With the current diesel ban in Delhi, it was about time Toyota catered to the needs of those who will now be deprived of owning 2000cc- and above diesels.
