Skoda has launched the new mid-spec variant of the Superb known as Superb Sportline at a price of Rs. 31.49 lakhs for the 2.0 TDI Diesel and Rs. 28.99 lakhs for the 1.8 TSI Petrol(ex-showroom). This variant lies below the top spec Laurin Klement trim.
The Superb Sportline has a bit of changes in the exterior looks. The shining black grille dominates the front part of the car and comes with rear lip, a sporty chrome exhaust with matte black rear diffuser. The new Skoda Superb Sportline has a 17-inch dual tone Drakon Alloy wheels.
Regarding the interiors of the new variant, the dash gets its lavish black theme. The car packs some quirks like flat-bottomed steering wheel with paddle shifters and the Alcantara leather wrapped sport seats.
The heart of the new Superb Sportline is powered by the same petrol powered 1.8-litre TSI, four-cylinder that churns out a maximum power of 180 bhp and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The mileage of the petrol powered engine is 14.8 kmpl. The diesel variant is powered by a 2.0-litre TDI, four-cylinder that puts out 177 bhp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The mileage of the diesel variant is 18.66 kmpl.
