Jaguar Land Rover has launched the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Convertible at a price of 69.53 Lakh INR (ex-showroom) which is based on the HSE Dynamic Variant. Unlike other Ranger Rovers, the evoque convertible combines luxury and fun. The Evoque convertible, being the country’s first ever convertible SUV has all means to attract the customers who seek for uniqueness in this segment.
The vehicle comprises of a Z folding convertible Roof system that wraps itself in the Rear of the car beautifully. It takes about 18 seconds for the fabric roof to fold and it can be unfolded at speeds of 48kmph as well.
The design looks similar to standard Evoque, except for the convertible roof. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible comes with luxurious leather furnished black cabin suitable for four occupants with multi-color ambient lighting, perforated Windsor leather seats. It comes with a 10-inch touch screen infotainment system.
There are other features including rain sensing wipers, keyless entry, front parking aid, surround camera system, 12-way adjustable seats, heated door mirrors, heads-up display and much more.
It gets terrain response system, ABS, EBD, traction control, ESP and tyre pressure monitor as well. The Evoque convertible comes with 2.0 litre Si4 petrol engine that gives out 240PS and 340Nm of max torque. The engine’s mated to a 9-speed automated Gear box with four wheel drive as a standard one. It can do 0-100kmph in 8.1 seconds with a top-speed of 217kmph.
