JSW MG Motor India unveiled a series of groundbreaking electric vehicle (EV) innovations at DriEV.Bharat, an event hosted at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Partnering with key industry players, the event showcased the company’s commitment to advancing EV technology and promoting faster EV adoption through a robust infrastructure.
Key Initiatives Launched:
- eHUB by MG: The industry’s first and largest EV charging platform by an OEM, simplifying the process of locating, reserving, and paying for charging stations. With access to nearly the entire national charging network, eHUB is available in 11 languages and offers trip-planning features for a seamless experience.
- Project REVIVE: In partnership with TERI, Lohum, and BatX, this initiative repurposes EV batteries for use beyond cars, providing renewable energy storage systems for community applications. This supports a circular economy and India’s clean energy goals.
- EVPEDIA: India’s first dedicated EV education and knowledge platform. EVPEDIA offers reliable, accurate information on EV technology, costs, and maintenance, aiming to debunk myths and foster informed decisions for broader EV adoption.
- MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP): This platform, standard in all upcoming MG vehicles, includes the MG App Store for in-car gaming, entertainment, and learning, superior voice capability in six Indian languages, and groundbreaking Home-to-Car functionality.
