BYD India, a global leader in New Energy Vehicles (NEV), unveiled the BYD SEALION 7 Pure Performance eSUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This fully electric SUV, available in both AWD and RWD variants, is designed to deliver impressive performance and cutting-edge technology, embodying BYD’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
The SEALION 7 features an 82.56 kWh battery and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (Performance variant) with a range of up to 542 km (NEDC cycle). It also incorporates BYD’s Blade Battery and CTB (Cell to Body) technology, offering enhanced safety and performance. The SUV boasts a sleek design with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, and ambient lighting.
As part of a Promotional Booking Offer, customers can book the SEALION 7 with an upfront payment of ₹70,000, with BYD matching the amount, and receive a complimentary 7 kW home charger and installation. The offer also includes a 7-year/150,000 km warranty on the Low Voltage Battery.
In addition to the SEALION 7, BYD showcased the BYD SEALION 6 Plug-in Hybrid EV with DM-i technology and the luxurious Yangwang U8, a high-performance SUV with all-terrain capabilities and the ability to steer in water. The company also highlighted its existing portfolio, including the BYD ATTO 3 eSUV and BYD SEAL sedan.
BYD India is set to expand its dealership network to 40 locations by January 2025, furthering its commitment to the Indian market and sustainable transportation.
