AGMC BMW has celebrated its 50-year partnership with BMW by unveiling the all-new BMW iX3 at an exclusive event held at Dubai’s Museum of the Future. The iX3 is the first production model based on BMW’s Neue Klasse platform, ushering in a new era of electric mobility, digital technology, and design.
Powered by BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology, the all-electric iX3 offers a WLTP driving range of up to 805 km and supports 400 kW ultra-fast charging, enabling up to 370 km of range in around 10 minutes. It also debuts BMW’s latest Panoramic iDrive display system and a new electronic architecture powered by four high-performance “superbrain” computers.
The iX3 introduces BMW’s new Heart of Joy control unit, which integrates the drivetrain, braking, steering, and energy recuperation systems to deliver enhanced driving dynamics, improved efficiency, and smoother braking. BMW says up to 98% of everyday braking can be handled through regenerative braking alone.
The BMW iX3 is the first of nearly 40 new or updated BMW models set to launch by 2027, all incorporating Neue Klasse technologies as the brand accelerates its transition towards next-generation electric mobility.
