Tata Motors has launched an automatic version of their little hatchback – the Tiago, at a price of Rs 5.39 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).
Cosmetically, the car remains the same. Under the hood lies the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 85hp and 114Nm of torque; mated to the engine is a 5-speed AMT gearbox that with ‘creep’ function,’Sport’ mode and ‘City’ mode.
For now, the AMT will offered only as a petrol on the top-of-the-line XZA variant, while the rest may be considered available with AMTs at a later stage.
