Lamborghini has launched the updated Aventador, in the form of the Aventador S at a price of Rs 5.01 crore(ex-showroom, India).
The Aventador S gets new front bumpers and a reworked tail to help improve aerodynamics and engine cooling. Inside the cockpit, a new customisable setting, called ‘Ego’ helps the driver to adjust the car’s drivetrain and suspension setting. Also new is a TFT touchscreen and Apple CarPlay as standard.
There’s also four-wheel-steering now, which is said to help high-speed stability and low-speed manoeuvrability. It also endows a tweaked all-wheel-drive system, along with updated ESC features.
The Aventador S gets the same 6.5-litre, V12 engine that sees some tuning done to the intake and variable valve timing systems, taking power up to 740hp and 690Nm of torque via a 7-speed transmission, sent to all four wheels, while the 0-100kph sprint is dealt with in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is a claimed 350kph. First deliveries will happen in the coming months.
