Auto Expo 2016: Yamaha launches MT-09 at Rs 10.2 lakh in India!

One of Yamaha’s big bikes – the MT-09 – was launched at the Delhi Auto Expo, and will be sold as import in India. This middle-weight sportsbike comes equipped with an 847cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder motor that makes 83bhp. And it is linked to a 6-speed gearbox.


The chassis is built of aluminium, which is sure to make it light to manoeuvre; also consider the fact that it’s just 191kgs. At the rear, the bike gets a monoshock with an alloy swingarm setup at the rear, while the front gets up-side down telescopic forks. With its naked and sleek appeal, the motorcycle will certainly have a market out here.
