Audi has officially unveiled the Audi Revolut F1 Team, marking the first public appearance of the brand’s factory Formula 1 outfit ahead of its historic debut in the sport. The reveal took place at Berlin’s iconic Kraftwerk venue, where nearly 400 guests witnessed the presentation of the Audi R26 race livery, team apparel, and driver overalls.

Audi CEO Gernot Döllner described the unveiling as a major milestone, highlighting the brand’s readiness to compete at the pinnacle of motorsport. The Audi R26 will make its competitive debut at the Australian Grand Prix on March 8, powered by the AFR 26 Hybrid power unit developed in Neuburg an der Donau. The car has already completed initial rollouts in Spain and will undergo further shakedown and testing ahead of the season.

The team will compete under Formula 1’s new 2026 regulations, which introduce active aerodynamics, a new electric boost mode, and a greater emphasis on electrification and sustainable fuels. Audi’s power unit combines a 1.6-litre V6 turbo engine with a high-output electric motor producing up to 350 kW, developed in partnership with bp.

Drivers Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg will represent Audi in its debut season, supported by Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley and Head of the Audi F1 Project Mattia Binotto. With its entry into Formula 1, Audi reinforces motorsport as a core pillar of its brand strategy, using the global stage to showcase innovation, sustainability, and performance.
