Al Tayer Motors has introduced the all-new DEEPAL S05 electric compact SUV to the UAE, continuing the rapid expansion of Changan Automotive’s innovative EV lineup. Following the earlier launch of the DEEPAL S07, the S05 aims to set a new standard for smart, affordable, and stylish mobility in the region.
The DEEPAL S05 is offered in two variants: a fully electric model (EV) with up to 460 km driving range, and a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) combining a 160 km electric range with a 1.5L petrol engine to achieve a total range of over 900 km. Built on Changan’s advanced platform, the S05 features rear-wheel drive, hidden door handles, frameless windows, and distinctive ‘Smart Flying Wing’ LED headlights for a futuristic look.
Inside, the SUV boasts a panoramic sunroof, AR head-up display, a 15.4-inch touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, wireless charging, and an intelligent cockpit with advanced connectivity. Safety systems include adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and a full array of airbags. Fast charging capabilities allow the EV variant to reach 80% battery in just 15 minutes.
