BMW Motorrad has officially introduced the all-new BMW F 450 GS, a lightweight, intuitive, and versatile adventure motorcycle designed specifically for the 48 hp A2 license class. Despite its compact displacement, the new model carries the full spirit and capability of BMW’s iconic GS lineup.
First previewed at EICMA 2024, the production-ready F 450 GS stays true to that concept. It blends everyday usability with sporty dynamics, touring comfort, and true off-road capability. The GS Trophy variant enhances this further with distinctive design elements and lightweight magnesium components for maximum performance.
Powered by a responsive engine with an optimized power-to-torque ratio, the F 450 GS promises agility, stability, and rider confidence from the first meter. BMW notes that the model targets a wide audience—riders seeking a compact, fun, and modern adventure bike without compromising on quality or technology.
A standout innovation is the new BMW Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), a next-generation centrifugal clutch system that removes the need for manual clutch operation when starting, shifting, or handling technical off-road terrain—an industry-first for this class.
At launch, riders can further enhance the bike with factory options including an Akrapovic exhaust and BMW cross-spoke wheels, reinforcing its sporty credentials and GS DNA.
With the new F 450 GS, BMW Motorrad enters the growing mid-displacement adventure segment with a machine that blends accessibility with authentic GS performance—light, dynamic, and ready for any journey.
