Mercedes Benz India launches their new C Class in India today. The C Class has been one of the best selling cars in its segment for the longest time. Apart from exterior and interior changes, the car is powered by new diesel engine that is BS VI compliant, also more powerful and are mated to 9-speed automatic transmissions.


It gets LED headlamps and tail-lamps along with minor design tweaks and a set of newly designed alloys. On the inside, the new C gets a new steering wheel which gets the dual touchpad control system available on the E-class and S-class facelift. There’s also a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 10.25-inch high-resolution screen for the COMAND infotainment system. It also gets 64 colour ambient lighting. Also comes with Android Auto and Apple Carplay



The new 2.0-litre diesel engine is BS VI compliant and comes in two options. The C220d gets a 194hp of maximum power along with 400Nm of torque, while the C300d which is the most power diesel engine in C Class packs 245hp of maximum power and 500Nm of torque. Both engines is mated to a 9-speed AT which goes to the rear wheels. The AMG Line variant also comes with Active Parking Assist.
