Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift launched at Rs 30.65 lakh

Mercedes has launched the GLA with a few notable changes for 2017, at a starting price of Rs 30.65 lakh, while the top-end 4matic variant costs Rs 36.75 lakh(ex-showroom).

On the outside, styling tweaks are seen on the bumpers – front and rear, and the grille too. It also gets new alloy wheels and LED lamps with DRLs. Inside the cabin, the dashboard gets some refreshing touches; so does the instrument cluster while a new infotainment system gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen. A host of other features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while on the safety front, you get features like Attention Assist and Active Brake Assist.

Under the bonnet however, the GLA remains untouched. A 2.1-litre diesel in two states of tune: 170hp and 136hp, while a 183hp 2.0-litre turbo petrol will continue to serve in the updated GLA. Paired to all three motors is a 7-speed DCT auto transmission. For those who opt for the 220d variant, AWD will be standard.
