Ferrari is looking into its own past and interestingly unveiled their SP1 and SP2 sportscars today based on iconic Monza models. Both models are limited-edition models, the single-seat monza SP1 and the two-seater monza SP2, their design is said to reference the ‘barchetta’ – little boat in italian – the classic open-top racing model of the 1940s and 1950s.
Both cars feature a unique design out of which SP1 is the most candid looking. Both cars with their low-slung, windshield-shield free bodies are epic throwback to the old Ferrari’s which we only get to see in museums and pictures.
Extensive carbon fiber is used in both cars along with best weight-to-power ratio and equipped with the most powerful engine Maranello has ever built, a 810 cv V12, they can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.9 seconds. With the best engine from Ferrari along with an 812 minus few hundred kilograms is going to be bonkers!
