Aston Martin has unveiled a teaser image of its upcoming, all-new Vantage. As can be seen, a new tail lamp design is seen under the wraps.
The production car will be inspired by the DB10 used in James Bond’s ‘Spectre’ film. The strip of light running the length of the rear tells us this one will be no ordinary looker, especially when you consider that it will have borrowed ideas from the Vulcan hypercar.
Underpinning it will be an all-new, aluminium architecture and is sure to be lighter and stiffer than the current model. Expect a better-handling package too. It will be powered by an AMG-sourced 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 which should produce around 500bhp. A dual-clutch auto transmission or a 6-speed manual could be on offer. You can also look forward to the 5.2-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 make its way into the new Vantage, but at a later stage, then followed probably by a track-focused GT version.
