2017 Land Rover Discovery launched at Rs 68.05 lakh

Land Rover India has launched the new Discovery, at a price of Rs 68.05 lakh(ex-showroom, India).

On the design front, the new Discovery gets refreshing changes in the form of new headlamp clusters, a re-shaped front bumper, all-new alloy wheels, and of course elongated tail lights at the rear.


Under the bonnet, the new Discovery will get options of a 3.0-litre V6 diesel that produces 258hp and 600Nm of torque, and a 3.0-litre V6, turbo petrol making 340hp and 450Nm of torque. Both engines are synced to an 8-speed auto transmission, with power being sent to all four wheels.

Features include two sunroofs, heated seats, a 360-degree camera and the optional Terrain Response 2 system, nine USB ports, parallel park assist, an InControl infotainment system with a 10-inch display linked to a six-speaker audio system, in-car 3G Wi-Fi hotspot and a 17-speaker Meridian audio sustem, if you opt for the higher-spec HSE variant.

The top-of-the-line ‘First Edition’ model is priced at Rs 1.03 crore.
