Nissan Motor India has announced the availability of a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for its popular SUV, the New Nissan Magnite. Priced at an additional ₹74,999, the CNG kit is developed and quality-assured by Motozen, in compliance with regulatory standards, and comes with a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty on kit components.
Available initially for the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol manual variant, the CNG option offers improved fuel efficiency and a cleaner, more eco-friendly driving alternative. Fitment will be carried out at government-authorised centres and can be booked through Nissan dealerships across seven states in the first phase—Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka.
Nissan plans to expand availability across more regions in the second phase, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and customer-centric mobility solutions.
