Toyota GR Yaris Breaks Cover With World’s Most Powerful 3-Cylinder Engine in A Road Car

Toyota GR Yaris is equipped with World’s most powerful 3-cylinder engine in a road car, which produces a maximum power of 257hp from a 1.6 litre engine and 360Nm of maximum torque. The Yaris is in its purest form of hot hatch where bucket loads of power which can be handled through a 6-speed manual gearbox and yes its an all-wheel drive.



The GR Yaris weighs only 1280 kilograms which makes it even interesting. The GR Yaris will hit a top speed of 230kmph (electronically limited) and will hit 100kmph in just 5 seconds.



There’s a newly developed double wishbone rear front suspension and a MacPherson strut at the front. The roofline has been lowered by 91mm to get that coupe like silhouette and there comes frameless doors too.



Drivers can select between Normal, Sport & Track driving modes where there will be difference in torque distribution to the front and rear axles.
