Samsung Galaxy Note 8 To Launch On Sep 12; Already 2.5L Pre-Bookings Made In India

According to a report over 2.5 lakh people in India have registered for the Galaxy Note 8, of which, 1.5 lakh have done so via Amazon India. A total of 72,000 people pre-booked the flagship model on the first day itself when the registrations opened last weekend. Remaining 1 lakh pre-booked through Samsung India website.

 

The Galaxy Note 8 is launching here on September 12, the same day the iPhone 8 will be uncovered in California. The South Korean company could introduce the 64GB and 128GB storage variants of the Galaxy Note 8 to our market. It is expected to cost above Rs. 65,000 for the base storage.

 

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets a 6.3-inch FullVision Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960. It is powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. The device also comes with a signature working stylus, the S Pen.

 

The Galaxy Note 8 also features a rear dual-camera setup with OIS (optical Image Stabilization): two 12MP cameras, one using a f/2.4 telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom while a secondary lens camera has an aperture of f/1.7. Both lens benefit from an optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

 

There’s an 8MP camera on the front and it runs Android 7.1 Nougat along with having a smaller 3300mAh battery.
