Benelli has launched its first retro styled motorcycle in India at Rs. 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom), the Imperiale 400 which will sell against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa.
The Imperiale 400 gets a simple retro design with a mix of chrome. It gets split seats, twin-pod instrument cluster and a retro styled exhaust. It gets dual channel ABS with 300mm single disc with a two-piston floating caliper up front and a 240mm rear disc. Imperiale gets 19-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels with spokes which enhances the retro appeal of the bike.
Imperiale 400 is powered by a 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 21hp at 5,500rpm and 29Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. Also, the company is offering a standard 3-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty which makes owning the Imperial 400 very much hassle free. Available in three colour options Red, Black and Silver.
