Auto Expo 2016: New Audi R8 V10 Plus launched at Rs 2.47 crore in India!

Audi India has finally launched at the all-new R8, here in India, at a price of Rs 2.47 crore. The overall silhouette of the older car is more than coherent on the new car, but gets fresh design cues and sleeker-angled panels; however, it’s the single-frame grille that makes this one look a lot different, especially when viewed head-on.


Features include a multi-function steering wheel, a customisable digital display and laser headlamps are among a host of other attractions in the cockpit. At the rear-end lies a 5.2-litre V10 that produces 610bhp, with power being transmitted via a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox. Power can also be sent to all four wheels, thanks to the Quattro AWD system. The car can sprint from 0-100kph in just 3.2 seconds, while there is also a weight reduction by 50kgs, thanks in part to the new Space-Frame; this also makes it a bit more frugal.
