BYD India has officially launched the SEALION 7 Pure Performance eSUV, with prices starting at ₹48.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV, which was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 18, has already received over 1,000 bookings within a month.
The SEALION 7 is available in Premium and Performance variants, offering rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. It features an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery, delivering a range of up to 567 km (NEDC cycle). The Performance variant boasts 390 kW power, 690 Nm torque, and can accelerate 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Designed by Wolfgang Egger, the ocean-inspired eSUV features a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof, and 128-color ambient lighting. It also includes 11 airbags, Driver Fatigue Monitoring, and VTOL (Vehicle to Load) capability, turning the car into a portable power station.
Bookings continue at ₹70,000, with deliveries starting in mid-March 2025. BYD India has also expanded its dealership network to 40 locations, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable mobility in India.
