BMW has unveiled the Z4 Final Edition, a special, time-limited version of its iconic roadster as the model approaches the end of its production run in March 2026. The Final Edition serves as a tribute to more than two decades of open-top driving pleasure, marking the culmination of a legacy that began with the first Z4 in 2002.
The exclusive Final Edition stands out with its Frozen Matt Black exterior—an eye-catching paint finish available only on this model—paired with M High-gloss Shadowline trim and High-gloss Red M Sport brakes. Inside, red contrast stitching ties together the instrument panel, centre console, door trims and M Sport seats upholstered in Vernasca Leather and Alcantara. An Alcantara-wrapped M steering wheel and engraved door sills further elevate its exclusivity.
The Z4’s heritage spans three generations, from the first-gen E85 roadster built in Spartanburg, to the E89 with its retractable hardtop, and finally the current G29 model blending classic proportions with modern technology. The Final Edition sits atop this lineage, including the celebrated Z4 M40i with its straight-six engine and available manual transmission.
As the curtain closes on BMW’s famed two-seater roadster, the Z4 Final Edition offers enthusiasts one final, collectible chapter in the brand’s storied tradition of pure driving pleasure.
