BMW X7 Unveiled

BMW unveiled its flagship SUV, the X7. The one thing you will notice about the massive SUV is that, it’s longer than the already gigantic X6 about 9 inches.X7 comes with three row of seats and the kidney grille is the biggest we have ever seem on a bimmer.

 

The X7 looks futuristic with sharp edges and also the sleek headlamps with J-shaped DRL’s do make the car much more captivating from any angle. The LED lights comes with optional laser projectors.

 

The X7 measures about 2000 mm in width, 5151 mm in length, and 1805 mm in height. BMW X7 has a taller greenhouse which maximizes the head room. The interiors of the X7 has the same design as it was in the latest X5. The cabin packs a multi-layered dashboard which has a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and a digital instrument panel. Soft touch leather and wood inserts make the car more premium keeping its luxury intact.

 

 The key features of the interiors are its soft-closing doors, a three-piece glass sunroof, four-zone automatic AC, LED-illuminated sunroof and 1500 watt Harmon Kardon sound system. The boot space is 326 litres and can increased upto 2120 litres with foldable rear row seats.

 

BMW X7 will offer two petrol and one diesel options. The 3.0-litre, in-line six-cylinder that churns out 335 bhp, a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 that pumps out 456 bhp and the 3.0-litre diesel in-line six-cylinder which gives out 256 bhp. 8-speed automatic transmission comes as standard in all models with all-wheel drive which features an M-sport differential. The BMW has also added the Dynamic Handling package which includes real wheel steering, active roll-mitigation, adaptive suspension which comes 4 driving modes, etc.

 

The new BMW X7 is said to arrive in India in later 2019.
