Volvo has launched the updated V40 and V40 Cross Country in India, at a price of Rs 25.49lakh and Rs 27.2 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).
The updated V40 gets the signature ‘Thor’s hammer’ LED headlamps, and a revised grille upfront. A coice of leather trims are available, along with dual-tone upholstery being available on the V40 Cross Country.
Features include a panoramic sunroof, pedestrian airbag(the first car in the country to feature one), powered front seats, park assist pilot with front and rear sensors and a parking camera, among of a plethora of other goodies.
The top-of-the-line R-Design variant on the V40 gets a 2.0-litre motor, capable of 150hp and 320Nm of torque, linked to an 8-speed auto ‘box. The V40 Cross Country gets both, diesel and petrol engines – the former being offered on the ‘Inscription’ variant and the latter available on the ‘Momentum’ variant.
