To mark the 50th anniversary of Tignanello, an influential red wine, Maserati has unveiled a custom Fuoriserie version of its latest creation, the GranCabrio Folgore. This unique, 100% electric luxury convertible, crafted exclusively for Marchesi Antinori, will be auctioned on July 14 at Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala in California.

The collaboration between Maserati, celebrating its 110th anniversary, and Marchesi Antinori, with over 600 years of winemaking history, reflects a shared commitment to tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship. The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello is inspired by the vineyard and the iconic Tignanello label, with its chestnut-colored Terra di Tignanello paint and coppery burgundy accents reminiscent of the vineyard’s soil and barrels.

Inside, the car features luxurious details such as leather seats embellished with a multi-material silver and burgundy ribbed weave made from Vegea, an innovative fabric derived from vineyards.

The interior also boasts dark briar wood panels with laser-engraved details, and elegant embroidery combining the Maserati Trident with Tignanello’s hallmark sun symbol.

As the first 100% electric luxury convertible in the market, the GranCabrio Folgore offers outstanding performance thanks to its 800V battery system developed with Formula E technology. The car provides four true seats, a neck warmer for cold-weather driving, and a wind stopper to reduce turbulence.

This special edition of the GranCabrio Folgore is a testament to the enduring legacy and innovative spirit of both Maserati and Tignanello, celebrating Italian excellence in both the automotive and winemaking industries.
