Chinese electric-led automotive brand iCAUR has officially entered the Middle East market with the regional debut of its V27 SUV, unveiled in the UAE. The launch marks the brand’s first step in expanding its presence across the region.
Designed to support the Middle East’s growing push toward sustainable mobility, the iCAUR V27 is a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV). It combines electric motors and a battery with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that acts solely as a generator, extending driving range while keeping emissions low.
The V27 offers a total driving range of over 900km, including up to 150km of pure electric driving, making it well suited to daily use in the UAE. With a combined output of 449hp, the SUV delivers strong performance, reaching top speeds of 170km/h in rear-wheel drive form and 180km/h in all-wheel drive variants.
Styling blends retro-inspired SUV design with modern detailing, featuring a bold, boxy silhouette, distinctive LED lighting, pronounced wheel arches and a functional, utilitarian grille. Inside, the V27 focuses on technology and practicality, offering a 15.4-inch floating display, 64-colour ambient lighting, 15-speaker audio system, and 48 storage spaces.
Aimed at young and adventure-oriented buyers, the V27 also offers genuine utility with 220mm ground clearance and 1.6 tonnes of towing capacity. With its combination of design, technology and eco-conscious engineering, the iCAUR V27 signals the brand’s ambition to play a meaningful role in the region’s transition toward greener mobility solutions.
