Ford’s Mustang Mach-E, the brand’s first all-electric performance SUV, has successfully completed an intensive hot-weather testing programme in the Middle East, demonstrating its readiness for the region’s harsh climate ahead of its launch.

Engineered to carry forward the legacy of the world’s best-selling sports car, the Mustang Mach-E underwent rigorous evaluations by Ford’s Dubai-based engineering team. Tests included prolonged exposure to peak summer temperatures, direct sunlight, sand and dust, and demanding hill climbs such as the steep, winding ascent of Jebel Hafeet. The SUV showcased strong agility, power delivery, and stability even in extreme conditions.

Key systems—including battery thermal management, powertrain cooling, air conditioning and interior durability—were scrutinised to ensure resilience. A crucial regional test involved DC fast charging under intense heat, where the Mach-E maintained charging speeds comparable to cooler environments, reinforcing confidence in its real-world usability across the Gulf.

The cabin cooling system matched the performance of Ford’s best internal-combustion vehicles, delivering rapid and reliable comfort despite the extreme ambient temperatures.

With its blend of Mustang-inspired performance, advanced technology and proven durability, the all-electric Mach-E is set to deliver an exciting and dependable new driving experience for customers across the region.
