Exeed, as a brand, has introduced four SUVs: the large VX, the mid-size TXL, sportier RX and the smaller LX. We drove the top-of-the-line VX and were thoroughly impressed. Here are the top things you should know about the Exeed VX.

1. Design – The XL-Sized Family Banger

The Exeed VX is a substantial SUV, just under 5 meters in length and 2 meters wide. Its massive road presence is enhanced by a simple yet attention-grabbing design. The front features LED DRLs and a large grille, contributing to its imposing appearance. The VX rides on 20″ wheels, which complement its size perfectly.

2. Spacious & Comfortable Interiors

Step inside the VX, and you’ll find one of the most spacious cabins in its class. The 2900mm wheelbase translates to ample room throughout. The front row offers generous space and numerous storage options. The second row is spacious with manual seat adjustments, while the third row is electrically operated, ideal for kids. With the third row folded down, the boot space is 461 liters, providing plenty of room for your monthly shopping.

3. Loaded with Tech and Features

The VX is packed with technology and features. It includes a one-piece triple screen, ADAS options, seat massagers with ventilation, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, and more. However, from the driver’s perspective, part of the infotainment screen is obscured and can be irritating to access. The second row offers seat ventilation and single-zone climate control. The co-driver enjoys a luxurious “Queen Mode” and other settings, all controllable from a third screen. Kids can also enjoy games on the front screen.

4. Engine & Driving Performance

Under the hood is a 2L Turbo Petrol engine producing 261bhp and 400Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and an All-Wheel Drive system. The VX drives smoothly and comfortably, fitting its role as a plush family SUV. In Sport mode, the engine delivers strong performance, while Comfort and Eco modes offer a softer ride. The vehicle includes off-road modes suitable for light off-roading, but it’s best for comfortable driving on regular roads. It achieves 0-100kmph in about 8 seconds and has a five-star C-NCAP rating from 2021.

5. Overall Verdict and Price

The Exeed VX starts at AED 130,000, with the top variant costing slightly above AED 200,000. This SUV is perfect for family trips, offering space, comfort, and modern features. It’s not a hardcore off-roader, but its softness and overall comfort make it an excellent choice for long drives and family adventures.
