The iconic British adventure brand Defender has unveiled its latest model, the New Defender OCTA. This new addition is the toughest, most capable, and most luxurious in the 4×4 family, enhancing the capabilities of the Defender 110 to an unprecedented level.

Powered by a 4.4-liter Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, the Defender OCTA delivers an impressive 467 kW and up to 750 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. The vehicle boasts advanced technologies, including the 6D Dynamics suspension, which significantly enhances its on-road and off-road performance.

The Defender OCTA features a bold exterior with a raised ride height, widened stance, and extended wheel arches. It includes redesigned bumpers for better approach and departure angles and tough underbody protection, allowing it to wade through up to one meter of water.

Named after the octahedral shape of diamonds, the OCTA model symbolizes strength and resilience. Each vehicle sports a new encircled diamond graphic, with a distinctive gloss black diamond set within a titanium disc.

The launch edition, Defender OCTA Edition One, will be available in an exclusive Faroe Green paint with a Khaki and Ebony Ultrafabrics™ interior and unique Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing. This edition, priced at ₹285 Lakhs, will be available for the first year of production.

The New Defender OCTA will make its debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11-14, with orders opening soon. The base model is priced at ₹265 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in India.
