TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Launched

TVS motor company have launched the all new 2018 model Apache RTR 160 4V at Rs. 81,490/-. The new 2018 RTR 160 4V inspires its design from its Apache RTR 200 4V. The Apache RTR 160 stands out of the crowd with its completely different looks from the outgoing RTR 160.

Regarding the appearance, the bike has a masculine fuel tank with fins and chequered flag stickering on it. The RTR’s headlamp looks sharper and aggressive with its stunning LED DRLs. The tail lamp is borrowed from its elder sibling RTR 200 4V. The bike has new seat cowls and single piece seat which is a bit different in its class. The all new RTR 160 4V gets dual tone colours and a fully digital instrument cluster with Lap-Timer.

The bike gets synchro-stiff chassis and houses a mono-shock at the rear.  The 17 inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres gives more confidence. The bike is powered by a 159.7cc 4 valve 5 speed engine which is oil cooled for better performance as compared to previous models. Its available in both carbureted and fuel injected engines. The bike gives 16.8PS at 8,000rpm in FI model and 16.5PS in carbureted model. The peak torque is 14.8Nm for both models at 6,500rpm.

Unlike the previous versions, the 2018 Apache RTR 4V has best in class power to weight ratio and company claims that it is capable of doing 0-60kmph in 4.73seconds (carburetor model) and a top speed of 114kmph for FI model and 113kmph for base variant.
